On this day, he was working in the kitchen of a wedding hall in Zakho district, Dohuk governorate of Iraq, cooking food for the guests when he lost his footing. He slipped, and tumbled into the hot vat of soup, before falling to the floor.
He was rushed to Dohuk hospital, but he’d suffered severe burns on his body, and five days later he died. Ismail who is 25 years old is also a father of three. Our condolences are with the members of his family.
