Bursting his tyres, sewing fish into his curtain, swapping his shampoo for hair-removal lotion, and other regular revenge attacks were not enough for Sarah, as she decided to get a little more creative.
Three months after Sarah Vilard; a fitness coach in Germany broke up with her boyfriend, she wanted to get back at the guy; so she figured that having a wedding three months after the break up was the perfect way to do that.
Tiny problem was the absence of a groom, so she resourcefully hired an actor to pose as her groom.
Sarah then went ahead to rent a wedding venue at Villa Kennedy; a five star hotel in Frankfurt. She bought a lovely wedding dress, and enlisted a friend to be her bridesmaid.
Donning on the dress and the veil, her hair was tied up with a pearl ribbon, and on her hand was a bouquet of pink flowers. She capped it by having a professional photographer capture the moments.
Sarah posted it on Instagram, and received a barrage of responses, including the one she had been anticipating.
It was from her ex, and he couldn’t believe that she had swiftly moved on and married someone else, so he concluded that she had been cheating on him while they were together.
“That, of course, wasn’t the case. But he came to my house and wanted to talk to me afterward. I wasn’t interested.” Sarah said.
Having gotten the desired result, Sarah blocked him on all social media, and went to Tik Tok to share the success of her little project.
She revealed on Tik Tok how she got back on her ex by staging a fake wedding. The video has since received 2.8 million reactions, and thousands of comments. Some people admired it, and some people thought it petty and plain crazy.
A pleased Sarah was undisturbed by the negative comments; she said, “Yes, I am single now and super happy about it, I’m happy to be able to focus on myself.”
So, would you call this ingenious or psychotic?
