Things You Need To Know about Your Wedding Transportation

August 21, 2017 by Jennace Biggs Leave a Comment

It’s important that you have knowledge of the transportation on your wedding day, how to arrive to your wedding at the right time and in the best style, how to make sure that the bridal party are taken care of in terms of transportation as well as the wedding guests.

For your big day to begin on time and for the scheduled activities for the day to be executed as planned, you need to get to the venue on time.

A strenuous transportation can make you and the guests anxious and worn up, even before the whole event.

Remember that it’s your special day. It’s essential to start the day with a revived and refreshed spirit.

Here are tips to make your  transportation effective on your wedding day.

  1. Create a Timeline

Some little details on your day may not need to be noted but you ought to plan on how your day will be spent.

Planning every bit of your day will determine how your schedule will be like, when you’ll dress up and have your make up done and when you should be on your way to the venue. This will ensure that you get there on time.

  1. Book in Advance

After you must have decided your wedding date, the venue, guest list and ceremony and reception sites, the next in line is hiring your car company.

The season you’re getting married into will determine the time of booking. You should book much earlier if you’re getting married in a season when formal vehicles will be in high demand.

  1. Cover For Your Wedding Party

Your wedding party are meant to cover for their travel expenses; to and fro the event but you can do them the favour of covering for their transportation.

You can arrange for a vehicle to take them to the  venue if you’re not travelling with them to the wedding . You can also consider providing a shuttle for them to their various destinations after the event.

  1. Provide For The Out-of-Town Guests

If you’re having many guests that are out-of-town, you can provide a ride for them from their hotel to your event and back after the event.

Since they are not familiar with the roads and the new city, provide for their transportation and see that they face no challenge arriving at your  venue.

  1. Think about Traffic and Other Special Events

Research and check for other events that may happen a week to your day. The events could make vehicles unavailable and cause traffic on your day.

Consider this when planning and creating your timeline.
