The bride is the star of her wedding, the centre of attention and the one that everyone looks forward to seeing.
The bride wants to look perfect and glamorous in every aspect of her appearance and she wants her wedding to also be special and remarkable.
Some mistakes are common when planning the wedding. This is why the bride should take note of the following mistakes and try to avoid them.
- Not Considering Yourself
When planning your wedding, first consider what you want and what’s best for you.
What would you want for your special day? How would your wedding to be like? Do you want a live band or particular theme for your reception?
- Not Considering Your Guests
Your wedding guests; mostly the out-of-towners will be spending lots of time and money to grace your event. You should therefore appreciate them by providing for their transportation service and providing them with the basic accessories for your day.
- Choosing a Wedding Planner Too Fast
Before choosing a wedding planner, a bride is meant to think and consider the amount of guests to be expected and the budget you have in mind.
- Inviting Guests Without Proper Planning
Dreaming of your wedding can so be so overwhelming for the bride that you start to choose your wedding party, your bridesmaids and inviting your guests without even considering your budget and knowing every aspect of your wedding.
Before you start the guest invite, make a proper plan and envisage what you want for your wedding.
- Hiring Your Vendors Without Research
These days, it takes proper research to spot skillful and efficient wedding planners. They can do anything to get look attractive and professional. Anybody can now create a website, display good pictures of weddings and claim to be the planner. Talking to a reference may make no difference as you may be speaking to one of those engaged in the plan.
This means that you have to do our own proper research to make sure that you choose the right wedding vendors.
- Seeking Too Many Opinions From People
As a bride, you have a lot of decisions to make for your big day. This means that you’ll need to consult people for advice as you cannot do all by yourself.
Avoid inviting everyone for an opinion as this causes confusion. You’ll end up complicating everything rather than getting solution to a particular problem.
You can talk to your groom or your best friend. Your close family member such as your mom or your close sister can also be sought for advice.
- Forgetting to Eat
Its normal for the bride to feel nervous on her wedding day but always try to eat before and during the event.
You wouldn’t want to appear fatigued and worn out on your special day due to hunger.
- Trying Hard To Do Something Different
We know that every bride wants something unique on her wedding day. You might want to do something different and spectacular on your wedding but try not to overdo.
Know that what matters is your wedding party and other details that represent you as a bride.
