Fitness and Wellness Tips for the Beautiful Bride

July 30, 2017 by Jennace Biggs Leave a Comment

While the bride looks forward to looking beautiful and amazing on her wedding day, she starts thinking about the diet and how to lose or gain more pounds.

To achieve your goals in a smart way, there are some fitness and wellness tips that will have to be abided by.

Below are tips to make you a fit and amazing bride on your wedding day.

1. Start Early
If you want to plan on being fit for your wedding, then you have to start early so that you can achieve your goals. This way, you can focus on making your goal attainable without any form of panic.

2. Be Realistic
Do not set goals that are not easy to attain and that will lead you to anxiety and frustration. Envisage the amount of time it will take you to reach your goal and if you’ll be capable of reaching your goal in a healthy way.

3. The Bride Should Avoid Fad Diets
Fad diets might be tempting with promises of getting big results in a short period of time but don’t go for it. This is because you’ll mostly lose water and muscle rather than fat and when the diet stops, you’ll go right back to how you’ve been.

4. Set Small Goals
Setting your goals small and specific will make you feel motivated and positive. Set goals that are easy to achieve and monitor for progress. This will give you a record of how well you’re working towards achieving your goal.

5. Get Enough Sleep
A beautiful bride needs enough sleep before her wedding day. Get enough sleep of at least six hours to keep the body healthy.
Not getting enough sleep attracts more energy from food. This is because the ghrelin hormone makes you hungry when you don’t sleep enough. You can read our article on  Getting Enough Sleep Before Your Wedding Day.

6. Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water is a way of keeping your body hydrated. Always keep a bottle of water with you at all times.

7. Track Your Progress
Having a record of your achievements is a way of keeping track of your progress by comparing yourself with the way you were before. This will tell you how far you are going towards achieving your goal and any adjustment you have to make.

8. Have a Light Dinner
Since the body produces less energy at night, having a heavy dinner can result to fat being stored in your system. Have a healthy breakfast and lunch so that you’ll be less likely to be very hungry at night and you can treat yourself to a light dinner.

9. Be Positive
Without a positive mind, our goals cannot be attained. As a bride working towards wellness and fitness, the golden rule is to stay positive!
