Wedding invitation is very essential for your wedding day. This is because it provides important information such as the venue, time and date of your wedding. Wedding invitation enhances planning and coordination as the wedding guests has proper information to schedule and plan their activities for your special day.

Planning your wedding invitation is associated with common mistakes that you have to avoid.

Some tips are here to enlighten you on the common mistakes that the couples must avoid in respect to their wedding invitation.

Sending The Wrong Information
This mistakes occur when you when you do not ensure that the details are correct. A single wrong number could cause a whole lot of damage. This means re-printing your wedding invitations or the guests will get confused.

The way to avoid this mistake is by carefully reading through the draft of your wedding invitation and getting someone to double check for you, to ensure that no error is spotted on it.

Giving Too Much Information on the Invite
Making your invitee stuffy with lots of information and too many details makes it less appealing for the guests to read. The main details will lost out when so much information is given.

To avoid this, summarise the information in a neat way, such that there is lots of empty space. The information could be categorized into sections and written in separate pages for the wedding guests to easily comprehend.

Sending The Invitation Too Late
Sending the invitation card too late will not give the wedding guests time to plan in advance, return the RSVP and plan the activities for your special day.

This can be prevented by placing for order and addressing the invitation cards and sending them to the guests. This should be done at least two months before your wedding.
This will give them enough time to plan ahead for your big day.

Not Setting a Budget
Some couples make the mistake of not factoring in the cost of the wedding invitation in their budget. This can be quite risky because wedding invitations can be quite expensive.
Make plans for costs of stationery. You could also save money by doing the wedding invitation yourself.

Ordering Less/Too Much Wedding Invitations
Do not order less because you might have forgotten someone really important, which will cause you to have a reprint. Also to not order too many invitations.
