Your wedding ceremony may be planned to be perfect but nothing can be perfect. You, your wedding guests and the vendors can never be perfect.
There is bound to be some minor challenges, disappointments and setbacks which would really not matter to confident and happy couples.
Some tips are here to guide on what to do when the unexpected happens on a day meant to be perfect.
The Weather
This is a disaster that no couple has control over. The best way to handle bad weather is by booking a venue with an indoor backup option. Have your wedding coordinator to secure some large golf umbrellas for the wedding guests.
Wedding Crashers
You’re bound to have uninvited guests that are not planned in the guests list. You don’t have to overreact to such. The wedding coordinator can work it out for the extra headcount or they can be kindly escorted out of the wedding venue.
Wardrobe Malfunction
It’s the dream of every bride to look perfect on her day, with the lovely wedding gown, beautiful hairstyle and nice make-up. It’s the bride worst nightmare to see an alteration in these.
A fitting problem, a stain or damage on the wedding dress can be solved by checking for any alterations one to two weeks before the wedding day. Also, the bride’s make-up should be done before wearing the gown to prevent make up stains on it.
The Kids
The kids can do the unknown on your wedding ceremony. They could make silly noise or play around, causing distractions on your day.
You can prevent this by telling the Parents to control their children while at the wedding reception. You can also create a kids table to prevent such disaster.
Missing Vendors
It’s such a huge disaster when your wedding vendor does not show up in the wedding. Imagine your photographer being absent when you’re about to cut the cake or minutes to saying ‘I do’, or if your wedding DJ turns absent when music is needed to rock the event.
The best way to avoid this disaster is to remind your wedding vendors a night to the wedding about the importance of their presence.
If a wedding vendor still fails to show up, then the wedding coordinator can arrange for a replacement as soon as possible.
Property Damage/Theft
For property damages and theft could lead to disasters on your wedding ceremony. This can be caused by property damage from some drunken guests or theft of wedding gifts.
Wedding insurance policies can help to protect against such disasters.
